Our Philosophy
Bright Futures believes that quality early education depends upon a consistent, loving, and nurturing environment where children of all abilities benefit from an inclusive atmosphere where each child is recognized and appreciated as a unique individual. Our program promotes a child's growing awareness of self and others by offering them a structured place to explore, grow, and learn. We encourage the social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive development of the children by engaging them in activities and relationships that guide them to solve problems, interact with others, and develop self-confidence.
Children learn through their play and exploration of learning centers. Through these experiences children learn self-help skills, self-control, and the understanding that others have different backgrounds and perspectives than themselves. We support children in developing a positive self-image, to cooperate with peers and caregivers, and to be confident trying new things. Our structured atmosphere helps children to recognize and express their emotions in an appropriate way as they grow and feel secure in the world around them.
Behavior Isn’t the Child
Our training and experience enables us to understand the difference between behavior and the child themselves. We talk; we do not yell. When we address behavior leaving the child’s self-esteem intact, they are able to rethink their behavior and choose a better one.
